Night Porter

Overlooking gardens and fields, the historic Hollin House Hotel sits on the outskirts of Bollington village, but within a five minute drive of Macclesfield Town centre. We have the comfort of the countryside and the convenience of a bustling market town on our doorstep.

We are seeking to develop our Nights team, by appointing a Night Duty Manager. Nights are the unsung heroes of hotels, you will be part of a team that interacts with our late night arrivals and guest queries throughout the night. You are also responsible for ensuring the hotel is ready for the next day - which involves everything from administration to setting up function rooms and everything in between.

Your Duties will include:

- To primarily be based at reception to welcome and help all guests with exceptional customer service skills, in line with our Company standards
- Having a complete understanding of all aspects of night audit procedures, posting charges to daily accounts, night audit cut off, banking procedure, daily business control, daily report analysis and fire emergency procedure.
- To ensure the safety and security of the hotel is maintained during the silent hours
- Receiving, welcoming and registering night/late arrivals.
- Handling and reporting all complaints, comments and compliments.
- Assisting in other areas whenever required as business demands
- Assisting the Night Porters in setting up meeting rooms for the following day.
