We have a unique opening here at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine for a Graduate Legal Administrator to join the Legal and Governance team. This is a 6-month, fixed term contract role and can be either full time or part-time to work around your studies.
Your role will be to provide technical, operational and administrative support to the Research Contracts Associates and the Group Legal and Intellectual Property Advisor as Head of Department.
We’ll need you to help deliver success in contract and legal related activities to ensure the department functions efficiently and effectively. This could mean managing the team inbox and allocating work to team members or you could be reviewing and completing draft contract variations, report checking and managing the departments web content.
You’ll also be analysing important data and delivering accurate and high-quality management information, which is used across the business.
We need you to hit the ground running in this role, and whilst full training will be provided - it would be great if you can demonstrate previous work experience, in an administrative or office-based role.
We’ll also expect you to have some basic knowledge and awareness of legal terminology in relation to contract law and be confident using Excel for data analysis.
During your time with us, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of working in a busy legal environment dealing with contract law and you’ll get direct experience working with the Head of Department.
