Jock Rome’s family have been farming on the land around Kilnford here in Southern Scotland for well over 300 years.
Jock uses his wealth of knowledge and experience whilst working with his farming and butchery teams to produce what he considers to be world class Galloway beef, Blackface lamb and outdoor reared pork.
You can enjoy Kilnford’s home reared produce by purchasing from our butchery, served up in our restaurant or buying online and having it delivered to your door with our delivery service.
We are a local farm shop providing the best home reared and local produce to our customers, by our friendly and enthusiastic team.

**Job description**
- **Job Role**:_
- Working within our farmhouse kitchen cafe, as well as in our Bothy
- Taking orders via tablets, serving customers, till operation, making barista coffees, washing dishes & general cleaning
- Maintaining a high level of hygiene within the kitchen/Bothy
- Working as part of a great team
- Part time role (4-8hrs per week)
- Salary and benefits dependent on experience
- **Applicants Must**:_
- Be aged 16 or over (due to licensing)
- Be flexible in their working hours (weekends required)
- Ideally have previous front of house experience, however, training can be given
- Be extremely passionate about local produce and customer satisfaction
- Work well under pressure
- Be willing to learn
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- Be able to provide excellent customer service
