- Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)_
**_About the role:_**
- An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join the Pathology Team at the Ramsay Rivers Laboratory (Sawbridgeworth)
- The laboratory has the benefit of a multi-discipline repertoire in a moderately paced environment, which would appeal to specialist staff in one discipline looking to expand their career.
- Working hours are between weekdays 8.00am to 10pm on rotation, with view to out of hours shifts once registration has been achieved.
- Support is also then provided for the completion of the portfolio for HCPC registration, where the individual is expected to gather appropriate evidence and meet internal timelines for completion of the modules. Failure to meet timelines will trigger review of role suitability.
- The role offers opportunity to develop additional quality control/assurance skills and responsibilities, health and safety practices, and various other internal and external training avenues.
- Being part of the TDL regional labs group, staff are supported by and contribute to the other TDL Regional labs functions in sharing input into troubleshooting, training, peer auditing, presenting training sessions and supporting company projects.
