**Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant**
**SAP Skills**:
- Deep experience of SAP S/4 HANA migration load tools & programs.
- Deeply experienced in development of data extraction techniques.
- Extensive experience in dealing with multiple data sources and formats to be extracted/ transformed.
- Should be well versed with data transformation tooling.
- Must have worked with 3rd party system implementation partners to perform data migration activities previously.
- Preferred experience in SAP BW / Datasphere / DW data migration.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead on the end to end delivery of migrating data from all legacy source systems to our future state SAP solutions.
- Develop the overall data migration strategy for each release specifically describing the method of extraction, transformation and load, and the tooling to be used.
- Lead on development of the appropriate tools required for extraction and transformation.
- Define the approach and process for data migration for each release.
- Define the data migration plans (including initial activities relating to data strategy development, through to undertaking the data migration test loads).
- Define the data migration scope (liaising with the process workstream leads).
- Define the approach for data reconciliation activities during cutover (including the business involvement).
- Work closely with the change team to identify the business stakeholders who will be data reconciliation owners.
- Lead on the data migration test load activities including producing status reports and identifying key improvements.
- Coordination of data cleansing activities with the business including performing data quality assessments and tracking cleanse activities.
- Work with internal audit team to ensure data compliance.
**Business Skills**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Understanding of business processes for focus area or module.
- Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understands how to solve detailed SAP problems.
- Understands and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.
