Junior Management Accountant / £35,000 - £40,000 per annum / West London / Hybrid Working / 6 month contract
This is an opportunity for a Junior Management Accountant to join a listed FMCG business on a 6 month contract basis. This role is based in West London, with hybrid working available and there is potential to become a permanent employee after your contract.The is a newly created role due to an increasing demand in the business and an opportunity to join a globally recognised brand at a time of significant growth.
This role will take ownership of the month end procedures for two divisions as well as preparing and analysing key monthly variance reports which are communicated to budget holders. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for posting of accruals and prepayments, preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reconciliations of cost trackers
- Preparing monthly variance reports as well as attending monthly meetings with budget holders.
- Provide commentary on variances in the monthly P&L and communicating these with non-finance stakeholders
- Assisting with international VAT returns
- Calculating monthly commissions across both divisions you will be taking responsibility for
- Regular reporting of actuals including submission in line with business wide deadlines.
