I am recruiting for a manual Test/QA Engineer a great company who within the talent space and provide a platform to match school leavers, and university students with employers who can provide internships, placement years and work experience. They have anoffice in Brixton in London and would like people have to go in at least couple of times a month, or more if you wish. They currently are a team of 55 and are growing at rapid rates. They are now looking to hire their first full-time dedicated Test/ QA to take ownership of the testing across their web-based platforms. They have had a part-time tester before so there aresome processes in place and to date, they have had their Product Owner and other members of the team getting involved. They are looking for someone hands-on to come in and build on the processes currently in place and get some better processes set up. At themoment they have some process in place around documenting, running tests and prioritising bugs and now they want someone who can build on this. You'll need to be happy working as the sole QA initially., designing and implementing manual tests, but you'll havea super supportive team around you to help out. They work within an agile environment to 2 week sprints. At the moment the bulk of testing is done at the end, but they do try and iron out issues earlier where possible so would love someone who can help them with the shift left approach. Their ideal person would be an experienced tester who is happy to give honest feedback and make suggestions on how they can improve their processes as they are eager to improve what they are doing. They would love to get some automation in place in the future so any automation skills would be useful but they a re equally happy considering a purely Manual Tester/ Qa> Salary is up to £45,000 dependent on experience.
