**Skills Training UK **have an exciting opportunity for a **Functional Skills Tutor **to join our team and be responsible for the planning and delivery of Functional Skills Maths and English. You will join us on a **full time, permanent** basis and in return, you will receive a** competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.**

**The Functional Skills Tutor role**:
This role will require the delivery of Functional Skills Maths and English content (Level 2) plus possibly delivery of GCSE (resit). You will be highly motivated in wanting to make a difference in the lives of our learners whilst also ensuring a success rate of 95% for the qualification.

**What we’re looking for in our Functional Skills Tutor**:

- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, PTLL’s, DTLL’s or equivalent
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
- Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering up to and including Level 2 functional skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people aged 16-24
