**Yeovil College** is seeking an enthusiastic **SEND Practitioner**to provide crucial support to students, both individually and in groups, empowering them to succeed in their educational journey.

As an **SEND Practitioner,** you will assist and support students with EHCPs or special educational and learning needs, helping them successfully access **further education** and thrive within mainstream classes and courses. You’ll play a key role in their personal and academic development, ensuring they have the guidance and tools to succeed whilst being part of a small and supportive team.

**What we're looking for**:

- A strong interest in working with young people with additional needs.
- Passionate about facilitating young people to make progress in all four areas in SEND achieve learning goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A Special Education Needs background and knowledge along with IT and admin skills are key for the role
- Level 2 English and Maths, or willingness to work towards.
- Level 3 Award for Learning Support Practitioners or willingness to work towards.
- Respectful of learner’s personal needs and maintain confidentiality at all times.
