Calling all Social Media Assistants
We're looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our team and work alongside our Account Managers, giving them a hand with the day-to-day activities for our clients’ social media accounts and bringing your own creative ideas to the table.
As we’re a social media agency, unsurprisingly, everything we do is social-focused Agency life is quick-paced, with lots of deadlines; you'll need to have the basics of social down, but we’re here to teach you the rest. So, a bit about you? Well, you’re a person that spots the finer details, you know how to communicate what you need, totally down for working as a group, but also enjoy those moments just to get your head down and get your work done, and most importantly, learning new things is kinda your jam. You've got some experience and knowledge across a mix of social channels - whether that’s experience and knowledge you’ve acquired from a marketing uni degree, you've been running social media channels for a business, completed CIM, running ads for your own side-hustle—there’s lots of ways you could have acquired a good base level of understanding of social.

**What does the day-to-day look like?**
- Ultimately, very varied But at the core of what you'll be doing is assisting our client services team to deliver work to the highest possible standard through lots of different means.
- You'll be working across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Carrying out research, from the latest industry trends through to competitor activities.
- Responding to social media comments on a client's channels to enhance their communities.
- Crafting engaging copy, both long and short-form.
- You'll be responsible for scheduling content using third party software.
- Working alongside our creative team, pitching in with ideas, helping writing creative briefs, and assisting with shoots.
- General administrative tasks.

**The Right Stuff**
- We're looking for someone who is more than just a user of social media—we're looking for someone who has some experience and knowledge across a mix of social channels - whether that’s experience and knowledge you’ve acquired from a marketing uni degree, you've been running social media channels for a business, completed CIM, running ads for your own side-hustle—there’s lots of ways you could have acquired a good base level of understanding of social.
- Great written skills; you can write concisely, have some copywriting experience and can spot a typo a mile off.
- A confident communicator; you’ll need to be super comfortable picking up the phone on an ad hoc basis, sometimes our account managers will need you to chase bits up for them.
- Social is fast-paced, so previous experience and proven ability to handle a busy workload, prioritise and be flexible is super important.
- All of our roles give a lot of autonomy; you demonstrate initiative at every turn and have a real can-do attitude.
- You’re known for bringing your enthusiasm to work to smash out good work.
- You enjoy collaborating with others and working as part of a growing team.
- You're the kind of person who is always looking for and learning from new information and experiences.

**GREAT to have but not essential**:

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Platforms (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Understanding of Facebook Ads Manager and Facebook Business Manager.
- Experience of working on multiple accounts in an agency environment.
- An understanding of Asana would be hugely beneficial.

- £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience
