In support, you’re in charge of customer WOW: that little bit of extra that sets us apart in our customer’s eyes from the legions of businesses out there doing “just enough.”

**And what will you be doing?**

You will be ensuring that all clearance processes are completed in a complaint and timely manner whilst providing information to your team and customers directly relating to HMRC customs and excise for the import / export of shipment via sea and road operations.

Advise on the documentation necessary for direct import/export, transit movements to ensure the company is fully compliant with the requirements of HMRC and other relevant bodies. And ensure good query resolution.

Utilising your knowledge of customs tariffs, CPC codes and security declaration and check that all necessary custom clearance processes post Brexit are implemented in a timely and accurate fashion Providing excellent customer service.

We work shift pattern Monday - Friday (35 hours per week, occasional weekend overtime required)

**What do you need to succeed?**

You will need experience of making customs declarations since Brexit and previous experience of handling import / export customs entries.

You will be a confident communicator with professional telephone manner and can-do attitude. Your proactive approach, drive, resilience and focus on problem solving will be the key to your success.

You need to be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, be flexible and adaptable to quickly changing priorities and most of all a great team player. The teamwork is what makes us succeed

Experience of using, Destin8, CNS, Chief, CDS or similar systems, and previous experience working for a freight forwarder or logistics company would be advantageous.
