TFS Healthcare are pleased to be partnered with one of the UK’s leading Private hospitals based in Blackburn, recruiting for a Surgical First Assistant to join their dynamic theatre department. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of up to £40,000 plus brilliant benefits. You will be joining a warm and dedicated team who aim to provide the highest quality care. The department are looking for an excellent communicator who is a great decision maker and problem solver and can cover a flexible shift pattern.

**Duties**:

- To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care.
- Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrating CHG behaviours at all time.
- To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
- Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care.
- Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act. Ensuring appropriate measures are taken in respect of Health and Safety for patients, relatives, visitors, hospital staff and contractors.
