House Keeper
Your Mission
This is a summary of your job with us but as part of our team we expect that you will undertake other
reasonable duties to ensure that your nursery is always the best it can be in line with our Core Values.
As House Keeper you will be a key contributor to ensuring the nursery environment is welcoming, safe, clean
and compliant. You will work in partnership with the nursery team and be an ambassador to encourage others
to keep all areas of the nursery clean and presented to the highest standards.

- Interact in a friendly manner with children, parents, staff and visitors
- Play a role in the education of our children’s development by promoting good hygiene standards and

spending time within the rooms teaching them how to be clean and tidy
- Safeguarding children is your priority making sure all children in the setting are safe and protected from harm
- Speak Up against practices that don’t support safeguarding or our Core Values

Service: We are an integral part of a parent’s support network
- Ensure the entrance areas and other areas such as parent rooms are well presented, attractive and inviting
- Maintain an infection free environment throughout the nursery
- Take responsibility for your role and aspire to Being your Best at all times

**Salary**: £9.00-£9.59 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sunderland, SR6 7PG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
