Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new job based in Fareham, Hampshire?
You will be joining a well-established company, working in a variety of different industries, specialising in designing and manufacturing specialist computing platforms, engineered to meet the client's exact requirements and needs. They design many differentproducts such as mobile tablets and boxed computers through to complex racks and innovative IoT platforms. They design their products to withstand extreme and harsh environments. Our client is looking for a confident experienced Mechanical Design Engineerto join the team to bring strong knowledge and innovative design skills.
*Mechanical Design Engineer key skills required:
*Ideally a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
*Expert in mechanical design made from predominately sheet metal fabrication within an electrical/ electronic or electro-mechanical environment.
*Display the ability to build and manage complex 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with 3D CAD - Ideally SolidWorks.
*Structural analysis of mechanical components and assemblies using calculations.
*Thermal analysis of electro-mechanical systems, to include air and fluid flow to provide cooling of electronics using calculations.
*Knowledge or experience with injection moulding designs would be beneficial.
