We are looking for enthusiastic hand therapists to come and work with our developing hand therapy team in the beautiful area of North Wales. This new and exciting opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Clinical Specialist Hand Therapist. The post holder will work as a Clinical Specialist Hand Therapist, with an extended scope of practice to work within a team to deliver a service to patients referred to Orthopaedic Hand Clinics. This includes management of the patient from referral, attendance at Orthopaedic Hand and fracture clinics and therapy intervention. All orthopaedic clinical work is well and closely supported by the hand and wrist trauma and orthopaedic consultant surgeon(s) and personal development is both encouraged and supported.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Development and delivery of high quality service within own Therapy sub specialism across East Area
- Assessment and management of complex patients
- Develop opportunities for practice which extends the scope of traditional Hand Therapy
- Training and support of Physiotherapists/ OT’s and support staff to deliver high quality, evidence based service provision
- Governance arrangements within the sub-specialty area.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
