Senior Workshop Controller

**About The Role**: Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Senior Workshop Controller to join our team in Coalville on a full-time, permanent basis. Joining our Vehicle Solutions department and reporting into the Operations Director, this role involves working closely with key stakeholders, to ensure that all workshop activities at our Coalville site, are planned and progressed through to completion, in a timely and efficient manner, supporting Vehicle Solutions in its objective to prepare for sale, 50K vehicles per year, at the centre.
In this role, you will be:
- Maximising workshop productivity through effective planning, loading and work allocation
- Liaising with onsite teams and other MO teams, to ensure vehicles are progressed through to completion, in line with kpi’s
- Managing external service providers to ensure adherence to agreed service levels, to avoid delays in process
- Providing forecasts in respect of workshop output, as well as highlighting any issues which will impact productivity
- Proactively seeking opportunities to improve process and reduce the time vehicles remain in work and on site
- Supporting wider MO initiatives and processes that help meet Scheme Customer needs and deliver an outstanding customer experience
In this role you will work a 40-hour week between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, Monday - Friday. We are happy to discuss the most suitable working pattern for you at interview stage.

**Minimum criteria**:
- Previous experience of working within a Vehicle Workshop environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and comfortable dealing with people of all levels of seniority
- Experience of delivering results in a pressurised environment
- Ability to work as part of a Team, as well as on own initiative
- A flexible attitude to working hours
