**Support Worker**

Archangel Care are a medium sized care company providing Domiciliary Care and Supported Living from three branches in the UK. Cheshire is our largest branch, focusing solely on Supported Living, with tenancies in Winsford, Middlewich, Frodsham and Runcorn. We support adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, and some of our customers also have physical disabilities and therefore require more support.

Drivers with their own car will take precedent, however, Winsford residents who do not drive will also be considered.

At Archangel, we support adults with learning difficulties and other disabilities, mainly within Supported Living properties. We also provide some Outreach support.

The job is different every day and includes tasks such as supporting customers to access the community, wheter that be the SEN disco, swimming, drumming class, shopping or an appointment. Other duties include assisting with cooking, helping manage finances, administering medication, chores around the house and, depending on the custtomer, support with personal care.

**Hours**

We have a variety of shifts and working patterns that can suit any level of availability including long shifts, short shifts, days, nights, weekdays and weekends.

Working alternate weekends is a requirement for this job.

Your work will be planned to ensure you routinely work with the same customers. We believe this will helps you provide high quality, consistent care.

Whatever your availability, we want to hear from you.

We can offer full-time, part-time and BANK contracts. To work BANK you must have previous care experience and drive. Working bank enables you to pick up any shifts from the overtime sheet each week and weekends are not mandatory.

**Remuneration**
- Weekly or Monthly Pay
- Basic rate: £11 per hour
- Overtime: £12.25-12.50 per hour
- Sleeping shifts: £6 per hour
- Bank holidays: £15-20 per hour
- Mileage contribution. We factor travel time into pay when applicable.
- We also pay into your holiday pot, which accrues separately at a rate of £1.21 to £2.41 per hour depending on the type of shift you are working

**Bonus Schemes**
- £300 for completing your probationary period

**You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winsford, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
