**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an NDT Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Non-Destructive Testing team within the operations organisation. The team are responsible for inspection of race car components and assemblies made from metallic and carbon-fibre reinforced plastic materials. This is a leadership role responsible for health and safety, quality, delivery and development of the NDT function.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Effectively lead the NDT team, ensuring they always represent the best interests of the company.
- To coach and develop individuals within the Team.
- Ensure inspection and reporting is conducted to the highest standards, meeting customer expectations on delivery and quality.
- Work with other departments to ensure overall company targets and objectives are achieved.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas, fostering a CI culture within the team.
- Ensure the team has the necessary skills and qualifications to meet overall business needs.
- Ensure the team operates within the necessary health and safety guidelines.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, confident in NDT disciplines.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Ability to plan, prioritise workload and maximise the output with the available resources.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt when needed.
- Have a keen eye for detail and quality focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities - a quick thinker.
- Minimum PCN level 2 in Ultrasonics, Dye Penetrant & MPI or equivalent. Ideally, Level 3 qualifications in relevant disciplines.
- Experience in X-Ray or CT scanning techniques is preferable.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and procedures.
- Understanding of materials and processes as used within the Automotive, F1 or Aerospace industry.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly, with MS-Office. Knowledge with SAP is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems and Procedures.
- Flexibility and a can-do approach required.
