**Retail Solution Architect - Up to £100,000 - London (Hybrid)**

My client is a leading consultancy that is looking for a Retail Solution Architect to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess new requests into the Retail Technolgy portfolio, overseeing, exploration, cataloguing of options and presentation back to key stakeholders
- Provide architecture assurance for the product team to ensure the proposed architecture is implemented as per the requirements
- Roadmaps across PoS, Self Service, Mobility Applications, APIs, Azure Cloud and Operations
- Work with the Lead Software Engineer Architects to maintain Principles, Standards and Practices. Ensuring they consider and are aligned with the wider Technology Principle Standards
- Gather intelligence from internal and external sources to guide definitions and best practices.
- Keep up to date with new technology available in the retail industry
- Ensure that the client voice is heard in the evolution of new technologies
- Ensure your team are developing their skills and careers and provide guidance on appropriate career tracks

**Job Requirements**:

- Retail experience
- Strong architectural experience
- Broad range of Solution Architecture
- Able to work alongside Engineers and product teams to drive a roadmap
- Technical experience with a curiosity to problem-solving
- Ability to put forward concepts and solutions to technology and business teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex change and prioritise key activities

**Desirables**:

- TOGAF Certified
- Service-based architectures
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Experience in an Agile environment
