**­About the Company**

C4S Search are currently working with a telecommunications client who manufacture electronic solutions. The company were founded in 2000 and are looking to expand their team.

This company have a great team already and are looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer to their team.

**About the Role**
- Support Purchasing and QA in the selection and management of Suppliers, through on site audits and by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and H&S and Environmental risks
- Determine incoming inspection requirements for new suppliers
- Ensure Inspection and documentation requirements are met
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues
- Audit new suppliers and ensure selection processes are followed, ensuring compliance with sourcing directives
- Introduce and maintain supplier quarterly business reviews
- Support supplier performance KPI metrics and identify improvement measures and changes in line with business requirement
- Assist in New Product Launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standard
- Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues
- Promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error proofing), Measurement Systems Analysis, and PFMEA
- Assist the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products, or changes related to current products
- Produce written reports and make presentations
- Full compliance with all company policies and procedures as detailed on the Business Management System
- Maintain a clean, safe and ESD compliant working environment at all times

**About You**

To be successful within this role, you will have skills and experience with:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
- Knowledge of quality and Business systems
- Trained auditor with proven track record in vendor selection and de-selection
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of measurement techniques
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present data effectively
- Computer literate
- Methodical and logical approach
- Problem solving skills
- Team Player
