Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with one of Scotland’s leading machine shops. Due to a very strong order book, we require a CNC Turner and CNC Millers to work at their state-of-the-art facility in East Kilbride on a permanent basis.

Due to a strong order book, they require CNC Turners and CNC Millers with Fanuc or Mazatrol experience on 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights rotations.

The workshop is very clean with state-of-the-art machines and excellent tooling. The client offers some of the best machine shop working conditions in the central belt. The environment is supportive and grown up with the opportunity for people to progress within the company.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate all necessary machine tool equipment/fixturing and tooling in line with safe working practices
- Read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with customer requirements
- Produce quality assured machined components
- Set up programme and operate Fanuc or Mazatrol machines efficiently
- Provide support and other members of the team when required
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
- Ensuring adherence with all health, safety and environmental procedures
- Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment
- To promote positive company image demonstrating enthusiasm for the company

**Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Qualified time served engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience in a production workshop environment post apprenticeship.
- Good knowledge of Oil and Gas industry components advantageous
- An extensive knowledge of all machine shop practices
- Conversant with Fanuc and Mazatrol Controlled machine tools.
- Ability to program with either Fanuc or Mazatrol

**The Hours/Remuneration**:

- 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights rotations
- 5 day week on days and a 4 day week on nights
- Days - Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3 pm, Friday 6am to 2pm
- Nights - Monday to Wednesday 9 pm to 7am, Thursday 8 pm to 6 pm
- 33 days holidays
- £17.25ph basic on days
- £20.13ph on nights
- Overtime is paid at x1.5 and x2
- Good overtime opportunities
- Up to 4hrs OT at x 1.5 Mon-Thu and 10hrs at x2 at the weekends
