**Job Summary**
We are seeking dedicated Bar Staff to join our team at Thomsons Bar, we are a traditional cask ale pub, with a great selection of spirits and whiskies. The bar is located in the city centre of Edinburgh, on Morrison street which is a 5 minute walk from Haymarket.

We are looking for both full and part time workers to join the team.

For full time the hours will be up to 36/40, with the part time hours being up to 16/20.

The starting wage will be £11.44, this will increase due to responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- make sure that the bar is kept clean to a high standard.
- provide drinks for customers to a good standard
- work in a fast paced environment
- stocking up fridges, getting ice etc when required.
- many other bar tasks that have to be completed.

**Skills**:

- Strong time management abilities
- Familiarity with bar operations.
- Previous experience in bartending is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions
- Reacting to customers when they enter the establishment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 36 per week

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Bartending: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
