Job Description**
RFQ & Day to Day Pricing Co-ordination**
- Communicate with sales and build strategy.
- Perform/support data analysis.
- Identify opportunities and challenges
- Support the product pricing for RFQs (Request for Quotes).
- Support and meet deadlines set by customers and sales/geo on responding to pricing requests.
- Work with and coach sales/geo staff to properly qualify bids.
- Track and report the results of RFQs.
**RFQ & Day to Day Pricing Execution**
- Convert customer formats.
- Insert / integrate targeted pricing.
- Communicate to the field.
- Support/manage responses.
- Audit responses and make cohesive.
- Maintain communication per Document Retention Policy (DRP).
- Update RFQ capture in a timely manner.
- Maintain RFQ tools.
**Analysis of Rates**
- Review and analyse carrier rates.
- Review feedback from sales/geo on rate competitiveness.
- Report results of analysis to team.
- In conjunction with the team, work with carriers to keep rates fresh and competitive.
**Rate & Surcharge Maintenance**
- Maintain rate database
- Maintain and distribute General Rate Increase (GRI) and surcharge information.
- Maintain diary system to flag expiring rate agreements and contracts.
**General Support**
- Development of reports.
- Provide general support for sales and product pricing.
- Provide other general pricing support as specified by the Ocean Team.

**Qualifications**:

- Ocean Cargo knowledge, with thorough understanding of pricing; processes and operations.
- 2+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects, working well under pressure.
