Job Title: Day Production Operative

Reporting to: Hand Fab Manager

Position Type: Permanent/Full-time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week **(Mon-Thur 8am-5pM/Fri 8am-4.10pm).**

**Salary**: In line with NMW / NLW, with after training; potential to earn performance based supplement.

**All training will be provided**

**Purpose of Role**:

- To support our Production team in fabricating high quality bags to our customer’s specifications at a reasonable rate.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To accurately follow written instructions on job sheets
- To ensure that the pre-cut material provided is of the right dimensions and the correct material
- To set Hand Sealers to the right temperature and use them correctly and safely
- To check the quality of own work
- To ensure Time Sheets are completed legibly, clearly and accurately
- To ensure Job Sheets are completed legibly, clearly and accurately
- To maintain a high cleanliness level of working area, and adhere to ‘tidy as you go’ policy
- To ensuring that own work is completed safely and the immediate working area complies with Health and Safety rules
- To follow any other reasonable request made by your supervisor or management
- Good manual dexterity to hand fabricate products, with aptitude to use tools, equipment and any applicable machinery
- Able to work to targets and deliver to our customer’s deadlines
- A helpful, reliable, can-do attitude and good team spirit to support the department as needed.

Pay: £17,888.00-£27,000.00 per year
