Nottingham, United Kingdom University of Nottingham Full time

**Previous applicants need not apply.**

This post is an exciting opportunity to join the coordinating centre for the UK Trial Managers’ Network (UKTMN), a thriving network of trial management professionals who have responsibility of managing public-funded clinical research in the UK.

The UKTMN facilitate the development of a well-trained, highly motivated, effective workforce of trial managers within the UK health care system who make an important contribution to the efficient delivery of high-quality clinical trials. A trial management professional is someone who has responsibility for the day-to-day management of a clinical trial. We provide support and resources for those at all levels of experience and varying roles.

The UKTMN provides training, online resources, webinars, and events for its members (trial management professionals). We also work in collaboration with trial networks and groups on national initiatives to further benefit our members.

Working alongside the UKTMN Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of UKTMN and provide efficient and responsive administrative support to the UKTMN members, UKTMN Executive Group, Independent Advisory Group, and external stakeholders.

You will have strong communication skills, demonstrable planning and organisation skills, and the ability to prioritise workload. Previous experience in a busy, administrative role is desirable.

The UKTMN is hosted by the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU), a rapidly growing academic unit within the University of Nottingham that supports clinical trials within the University and local NHS trust. Working within the NCTU provides a valuable insight into the multidisciplinary research environment.

The position is offered on a fixed term basis for 2 years. Hours are part time (21.75 hours per week).

For successful international applicants, we provide financial support for your visa and the immigration health surcharge, plus an interest-free loan to help cover the cost of immigration-related expenses for any dependants accompanying you to the UK. For more information please see the our webpage on Financial support for visas and the immigration health surcharge.
