Draughtsperson

T&K Associates have partnered with our client, a well-established engineering company in Swadlincote to recruit for a Draughtsperson to join their CAD team on a permanent basis due to a period of significant growth. Our client has a proven reputation in providing engineered solutions to the rolling stock, power generation, cement, bulk handling, and minerals industries.

The ideal Draughtsperson would come from a mechanical background and have a strong knowledge of Auto CAD 3D and 2D. Ideally, the Draughtsperson would also have knowledge and experience of general steelwork, pipework and pipe supports would be beneficial.

**Draughtsperson Benefits;**
- Monday to Thursday 8:15am -4:30pm and a 4pm finish on a Friday
- A salary of up to £35,000 DOE

**Draughtsperson Job Details;**
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and works instructions for the factory to manufacture.
- Produce drawings on AutoCad for pre tender work enquiries.
- Design any customer components that may be necessary to complete installation
- Inspect the finished components to ensure that they are correct to specification, as and when required.
- Ensure that projects are completed to the agreed time scale and meet all the customers’ requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive notes and records including all design calculations in connection with each design task and will keep such records in a form to simplify their retrieval for future reference.

The Draughtsperson would also identify any key draughting issues or problems, be a strong communicator, generate and issue paperwork in accordance with company procedures to execute contracts.
