HSE ADVISER

In this role, you will be supporting the business in all of its Health, Safety and Environmental aspects, making and suggesting areas of improvement, managing risk and promoting strong HSE throughout the business.

Your role will include management of the occupational HSE Management System and training records, the completion and regular review of Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and safe systems of work and to conduct site safety inspections and audits, ensureemergency evacuations are correctly reported, and employees are aware of their HS&E responsibilities

Liaising with external health, safety, and environmental advisors for the provision of training programmes and HSE services you will creat a safe workplace by ensuring HSE policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updatedand communicated with the Quality Manager and Director of Business Improvement, Facilities & SHEQ

You will also support with the implementation of new and existing legislation and Company rules and standards, such as fire prevention, safety awareness and contractor assessments and keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement suchchanges where relevant.

For this role, you will have a NEBOSH General Certificate, possess knowledge and understanding of ISO14001/45001 and current HSE legislation and have well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interface throughout all levels of an organisation.Good forward planning and organizational skills along with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are all great attributes to have too.

You will also need a full driving licence
