Location: Liverpool CLASS 1 (C+E) HGV DRIVERS NEEDED - Nights Search Consultancy are looking to induct Class 1 HGV Drivers for a major retailer in the North West. After working in partnership with the client for over 10 years we want to offer driving jobs that are flexible and commit to regular working patterns. THE JOB You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Box Trailer You will be making store deliveries around the UK. As part of this job will be dealing with ambient goods and making deliveries with hanging garments. A normal day will involve 1 - 2 trailers worth of deliveries which is between 3-5 stores on average. This is a physically demanding job so the work and routes will be rotated amongst the drivers as fairly as possible. The planners will do their best to alternate the number of stores you do each day. Our Client offers an excellent induction training programme (with Paid Training) where you will learn all aspects of the job as well as standard health and safety procedures. If you have previous tail lift experience that is an advantage, however it will be covered in the training. SHIFT PATTERNS We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work any 5 out of 7 days. Night Drivers star approx. 1700-2000 each day - Night Drivers will be required to do a mixture of jobs which include Store Deliveries, Trunking and Containers (*_Night Work is normally available Sunday to Friday)_ **PAYE Rates include - Paid Breaks & Min 8 hours pay per shift** (Hourly Rate with holiday pay saved up separately) Nights - £19.00 Saturday - £21 Sunday - £23 Bank Holiday - £24 **PAYE Rates including holiday - Paid Breaks & Min 8 hours pay per shift** (Hourly Rate with holiday pay added to the pay) Nights - £21.29 Saturday - £23.53 Sunday - £25.77 Bank Holiday - £26.89 **WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DRIVER**: We are looking for committed drivers looking for ongoing work. Must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence. For Insurance purposes you will need to have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.
