**Job Purpose**

The sales associate will be assigned to the daily operations of the Cavani sales department duties. Responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish when selling products to other businesses. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential customers, negotiating and closing deals, and maintaining ongoing accounts.

**Sales Associate Job Profile**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answer phones, deal with customer queries, organising refunds and exchanges and taking customer holding deposits
- Ensure stock quantities are accurate giving maximum availability to the customer
- Assist in the showroom, sell and offer excellent customer service
- Book international orders via courier online using comparison sites for best price
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, liaise with line manager
- Analyse sales data identifying best sellers and feed back to management
- Assist with sale promotions, identify lines that can be cleared or reduced if not selling
- Monitor discount codes and communicate current promotions to showroom staff

**Other Duties**
- Adheres to company procedures of health and safety and the company handbook including changes and amendments when communicated.
- Be flexible and change role within the department to support the day-to-day smooth operations
- Attend Corporate Business to Business Events (2x per year).

**Sales Requirements & Skills**
- Proven experience in B2B sales
- Strong relationship-building, communication, team player and negotiating skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s own time
- Ability to build relationships and close deals
- Generating leads
- Achieving sales targets
- Identifying new business opportunities

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
