About the role
- As our Technical Training Specialist you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our training framework and supporting processes. Your role will ensure technical training is in place within our pharmaceutical development groups to support best practices and Vectura’s operational & developmental requirements.
- Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Form and implement a process for understanding current and future training needs for the relevant groups.
- Create and manage a schedule for all ‘in scope’ technical training courses
- Routinely identify, assess, and recommend mitigation strategies for managing training risks
- Continuous improvement - keep up to date with external / industry best practices concerning training areas and ways of working, and implement into internal processes
- Ratify approaches via the training governance group, and communicate to the impacted groups
- Evaluate potential new providers of external training and provide evidence-based recommendations for training governance group
- Support employees and line managers to identify & consolidate training needs, and feed into the overall group requirements
- Co-ordinate use of / maintain training matrices across the relevant groups
- Co-ordinate on-boarding processes & training for new starters to the relevant groups
- Liaise with Quality to support the effectiveness of GxP training
- Act as technical training SME internally and with external regulators, clients, etc

About you

You will be a scientist with a strong background in pharmaceutical product development. Due to the teams, you will be supporting experience with inhalation will be desirable.

Aside from technical experience, you will demonstrate great organisational and coordination skills and the ability to capture and plan for training requirements, now and in the future.
