My client, a media business based near **TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD STATION**, is seeking a **CREDIT CONTROLLER** to join them whilst they begin their next exciting growth phase. This is an incredible time to join this amazing business who really value their staff.

**THE ROLE**
- Organise and attend regular client status meetings with all major agency groups.
- Hold weekly meetings with the Operations/Media Team to resolve invoice queries
- Check and review that all payments received (cash/cheques/BACs) have been allocated within the month by the Finance Assistant.
- Review all billing and credit rebills for all departments.
- Act as the main contact for all AR queries
- Ensure the AR ledger is regularly reviewed to ensure all AR write offs are actioned appropriately
- Create and distribute client statements on a monthly basis and/or when requested.
- Prepare monthly cashflow information for the FD
- Update and maintain the internal debtor’s sheet.
- Oversee the preparation of the monthly bad debt write-offs.
- Provide the management with the final month-end balance for AR and ensure a timely closing of the AR ledger

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Significant experience in an Accounts Receivable/CC role.
- Ideally from a media/marketing business (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of resolving complex queries
- Confident and experienced in liaising externally on monthly debt collection
- Experience in journal posting.
- Finance related degree/AAT qualification desirable
- Numerate and logical mind set with strong Excel skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Personal drive & initiative and works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise their own workload and meet deadlines accordingly.
