As a Product Owner with my client in their Change and Digital Innovation (CDi) team, you will be responsible for maximising the business value of themes being delivered by the transformation teams within the Change Labs. You will be accountable for increasingoperational and reputational value through the successful adoption and delivery of the LAB Transformation agenda by your SCRUM Team.
In this role, you will:

- Represent the stakeholders, and have the mandate to prioritise scope (functions/features) on behalf of the team, setting the overall transformation vision and aims for the SCRUM Team
- Create and maintain a prioritised Product Backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear
- Clearly communicate priorities, objectives/goals, mission and acceptance criteria to the Agile Delivery Teams
- Ensure the Agile Delivery Team members understand items in the Product Backlogs to the level needed and leverage the wider scrum and cross stream forums
- Communicate progress outside the core Agile Delivery Team to key Judicial and operational influencers and other senior stakeholders as appropriate
- Collaborate with all parties required to deliver products and processes into Production/BAU.
- Own the review of Benefits captured in our targeted value calculations within the sprint lifecycle
- Responsible for understanding, managing and communicating to the EAB the overall trajectory of the Products and Services within the given initiative and support the Chief Product Owner.
- Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Chief Product Owner to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow our competitors and the industry
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Business Skills:

- As the PO, translate the executive strategy into business outcomes for the LAB.
- As the PO, work hand in hand with the Chief Product Owner, the Business, taking products and services from investment decisions, into design, specification, and solution phases, all the way to operations on the ground, securing support services from otherteams.

Essential skills and experience:

- A demonstrable and evidenced drive to deliver
- Ability to co-ordinate, communicate and influence to achieve outcomes within a positive working environment - strong stakeholder management skills
- Take a Value driven approach, with the ability to identify and measure Value, and target delivery towards the achievement of Value

Desirable skills and experience:

- Experience of Agile delivery frameworks
- Coach the Business and Operational areas to create a culture of product and service improvement.
