**Position Title:** Yard Operative

**Reports to**: Managing Director

**Salary & Benefits**:Negotiable, dependent on experience.

**Location**:12 Drumcor Road, Tempo, Co. Fermanagh

**Hours**:Full-time: 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday; 8.00 to 5.00pm on Friday, as well as every 3rd/4th Saturdays (8.00am to 2.00pm)

**The Company**

Leam AGRI Ltd carries a large stock of agricultural materials for wholesale and retail.

Products sold are mainly for agricultural use

Cattle handling, sheep handling, livestock housing, sawn timber, fencing posts and wire, other hardware and some building products as well as animal bedding.

Leam AGRI Ltd. is delighted to announce a new opportunity within the business for a dedicated, hands-on, hard-working person who is passionate and knowledgeable about agriculture, who can integrate well into a dynamic team environment and who can ultimately help improve the efficiency and overall running of operations in the Yard.

**The Role will involve**:
A very hands-on role, as Yard Operative you will help maximise the Company’s sales performance by delivering exceptional levels of customer service. You will be involved in the daily planning, implementation and maintenance of high standards, organisation and follow up on all sales within the yard and store. The main duties of the role will be:

- Directly help with the ongoing organisation of the yard.
- Serving customers by helping them load products onto trailers and lorries, ensuring correct items and amounts are loaded.
- Ensuring customers to the yard, as well as all clients, are provided with the highest possible standard of service, at all times by Yard staff.
- Picking loads ahead of Company delivery vehicles return as accurately and quickly as possible.
- Load Company vehicles with outbound deliveries.
- Organising products for delivery with 3rd party hauliers including palletising.
- Receive incoming deliveries from suppliers, ensuring all quantities are correct and undamaged.
- Ensure that all stock is kept tidy and in correct locations in yard and warehouse.
- Work alone and with other yard operatives to ensure a high level of housekeeping.
- Report any damages or shortfalls in stock to the management team to help keep an accurate stock record.
- Aid the management team with stock ordering by informing them of any low stock levels. Monitoring stock movements, in and out of branch.
- Key holding duties.
- Any other related duties as and when required.

Through demonstrating effective support to the M.D, the role may command more responsibility, taking on a larger proportion of decision making with the business and, therefore, consequently enhanced remuneration.

In addition:
**A clean and current driving license is essential.**

**Previous experience within an agricultural merchants / agricultural business is highly desirable.**

**Previous experience of driving forklift and / or telescopic handler is highly desirable.**

Pay: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
