We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team in Wolverhampton. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 17:00pm with 30 minutes lunch break.
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and preparing the production schedule to meet customers’ orders and company targets working with the Commercial Operations Manager. Other duties include the following:
- Plan and prepare the Production schedule to achieve customer requirements.
- Managing Internal filing of Live Orders and the Efficiency tracker to assess Production performance against planned output.
- Ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and on time and work closely with the logistics coordinator.
- Liaising with the HR Department to ensure staffing levels meet requirements alongside with the Commercial Operations Manager.
- Planning effectively and efficiently by understanding minimum and maximum stock levels against “Stock items” and replenish when required.
- Ensuring timely communication of production activities to the production team in the absence of the Commercial Operations Manager.
- Ensuring that stock takes are constantly monitored so that they are replenished on time to meet company demand and to prevent stock levels diminishing.
- Assisting with the rest of the Commercial Ops team by understanding and assisting when required in Logistics and Customer Service.
- Communicating to Sales on availability of future planned runs to generate Orders.
- Presenting KPI’s to Commercial Operations Manager on a Weekly basis.
- Primary machine utilisation is no lower than 85%.

**Salary**: £24,000 - £30,000. Depending on Experience.
