Bristol, United Kingdom Sponge Full time

We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join our Creative Services Team - This is an exciting time as this role is due to yet another internal promotion Are you known for your Learning Design skills? Do you 'wow' people with your gift for creating digital learning for the commercial world? Do you love learning as much as we do? If you answered yes to all three, then you might be the exceptional Learning Experience Designer we are looking for. **So, what is a Learning Experience Designer?** There are a few names out there for Learning Experience Designers; Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, Magician all are true, so why do we say 'Experience' design? Well, our Learning Experience Designers (or LEDs for short) take digital learning to the next level. They work with our clients and internal teams to transform content and a vision into a cohesive, meaningful, and impactful learning **experience**. Our LEDs are key to our business at Sponge. There is no 'typical' day in the life of an LED. When they aren't coming up with innovative ideas and solving problems, they are exercising their great stakeholder management skills. They meet with our clients to discuss their projects, digging deep to truly appreciate their challenges, goals, and needs. With excellent commercial awareness, they have a knack for seeing the bigger picture and considering what's best for the learner, the client and for Sponge. They get their hands dirty too, researching, developing, and designing solutions with a clear direction grounded in learning approaches and methodologies that create the best solution possible. But they can't do this alone. LEDs work with our talented Visual Designers, Developers, and Innovation Experts to make sure the client's vision becomes a reality. Want to know more about us? Take a look at our website to find out more **We need people who have**: - Proven experience working as a Learning Experience Designer (or equivalent job title) in digital learning - Technical knowledge of a range of LMS's and platforms - Experience using a range of authoring tools to build learning solutions, such as Articulate Rise and Evolve - Excellent creative writing skills and a keen eye for detail - Exceptional communication and presentation skills working both internally and externally with commercial clients - An ability to multi-task, manage time and work to tight deadlines - Understanding of "off the shelf" learning solutions - Experience working in the compliance sector (desirable not essential) - German speaking would be desirable but not essential **What we will give you**: Our LEDs are crucial to the work we do at Sponge, so what would you get in return for joining the team? You would have the opportunity to work for a forward-thinking company focused on success, well-being and career development. The opportunity to collaborate and learn from a team of exceptionally talented people whist working in a supportive and hugely collaborative environment. **What we can offer you.** - A competitive salary - our priority is to find the right person - Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home some of the week - Pension - Income protection and life assurance - 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays - Your birthday off - A fabulous health cash plan **Location - Hybrid Bristol** Our new headquarters is in the Bristol area (The Paintworks). We offer a mix of home and office working because we believe both are necessary for a high performing team. We know you need some time to concentrate and avoid constant commuting, so homeworking is essential, but we also feel face-to-face time is important too. We work in a Hybrid way with ideally 2/3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week worked remotely. We offer flexible working options also to help find the right work-life balance for you. We currently have main offices in the UK in Bristol, Plymouth, Glasgow, and in Europe in Berlin and Brussels. **Be you, with us** At Sponge, we are all different. And that's what makes us great We hire talented people with different and diverse backgrounds, stories, and perspectives not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it makes us stronger. We are actively working and committed to increasing diversity in our teams and management positions. It's our ambition to create an inclusive environment where we can **all **be ourselves together. **What's next?** If this sounds like you, then you're on your way to joining a forward-thinking industry leader and a team of like-minded, exceptionally talented people. Simply send us your CV, and we will be in touch. **We can't wait to hear from you
