**LINE LEADER / MACHINE MINDER**

**BENNETT POTATOES**

Due to continued growth we now have new opportunities within our potato supply business based near **Brigg, North Lincolnshire**.

We are looking for confident Machine Operators within the food industry ideally with a proven record of running **Vertical Form Filling **machines. You will have the drive to ensure that your production lines meet daily customer orders in the most cost effective and efficient way. You will always work to customer specifications and maintain Health & Safety and Quality requirements on a day to day basis.

You will be specifically responsible for:

- Ensuring that the optimum production rate is achieved by setting up and minding the vertical forming machines.
- Fault finding, and problem solving to establish the root cause and to fix the machine issue
- Reacting positively to changes to Customer priorities as advised by Production management
- Complying with food safety standards and controls to ensure all produce and packaging meet customer specifications
- Completing all documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including daily start-up checks
- Promoting Good Housekeeping through a clean as you go mentality
- Ensuring that all procedures are adhered to
- Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
- Maintaining positive relationships and co-operating with all work colleagues and managers
- Working in a flexible manner as the role will be diverse
- Ensuring that machinery is regularly cleaned and maintained and that all packaging is removed from previous runs
- Contributing to the improvement of quality standards

**Due to the location of the site you will need your own transport**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £15.36 per hour
