Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the team when on shift and ensuring everyone is following the required processes & procedures. You will also work with the other Shift Lead & Site Lead to decide weekly menus, support with cooking and stock ordering, help maintain food safety, environmental health & HSSE records, cash / float process and continually improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the site.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Ensure health and safety is front and centre of all operations. To ensure the site team are following processes, using correct PPE and generally engaged with safe working. To report any incidents / near misses occurring on shift to the Site Lead or Area Manager as soon as possible.
- Ensure hygiene and environmental health are maintained at five star levels by ensuring team members follow all processes. To be ready to receive visits from compliance authorities, show them records and enable them to complete checks.
- To lead the shift team to follow instructions and processes to comply with Group and Company policies.
- To ensure all site cash is kept secure as per agreed processes.
- To coach and motivate the team and create a happy and efficient workplace.
- To optimize the service levels to achieve the goodwill and support of our customers.
- To work with the Site Lead and the Team to maximise upselling opportunities and to motivate the Team to promote and sell all additional revenue earning opportunities.
- To work with the Site Lead to identify areas of opportunity and weakness and suggest measures to address them.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience in Hospitality or Road Side Services preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities.
- Experience of sales an advantage.
- Must be a competent communicator.
- Demonstrates strong sense of right and wrong.
- Demonstrates experience of being responsible, either in personal or work life.

30 hours per week

Hours of work:
Tuesday - Thursday 3pm - 9pm, Friday 1pm - 8pm & Saturday 7am - 12pm

Pay: £12.79 per hour
