Warehouse Assistant

**About the Role**: As a Warehouse Assistant (RF/Comms), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our radio microphone systems and communications equipment are well-maintained and ready for hire. This involves organising equipment storage, managing stock levels and providing technical support to customers. Your attention to detail and technical skills will help maintain the high standards of our equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organise and maintain the storage of radio and communications equipment, ensuring it's in good working order and ready for hire.
- Manage customer radio licences, including invoicing and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels, perform basic equipment repairs such as resoldering mic heads and coordinate with suppliers for more complex repairs.
- Maintain the rental database by updating equipment packages, specifications and ensuring all software and firmware are up to date.
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone and, when necessary, on-site to resolve equipment issues.

**Requirements**:

- Good general standard of education.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT proficiency and familiarity with inventory management.
- Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining an inclusive work environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable.
