Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team

Location: Bedfordshire, UK

**Salary**: £40 per hour

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a lead professional for complex safeguarding cases, liaising with other agencies and professionals to ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Complete initial assessments and provide recommendations for further action
- Contribute to the development of MASH team protocols, policies, and procedures
- Work with other agencies and professionals to coordinate interventions and ensure that the needs of vulnerable children and families are met
- Attend and participate in strategy meetings, case conferences and other relevant meetings
- Provide supervision, guidance and support to other team members
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legislation and departmental policies
- Continuously update the knowledge of the children's legislation, national and local policy and procedures
- Participate in supervision and team meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

- Holds a relevant social work degree, and registered with Social Work England
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualifying experience as a social worker, with experience working in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team
- Knowledge and understanding of child development, child protection and welfare, family dynamics and the role of multi-disciplinary working
- Advanced assessment and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a high caseload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals
- Willingness to work flexibly and a commitment to professional development
