As a Radiology Administrator at our York Hospital, you’re able to manage, appraise and interpret the data. What’s more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner. Ideally, you have an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent, but this isn’t essential. **As an Administrator, you will**: You would support the Radiology team and be the point of contact for our service users. As our Radiology Administrator you will: Handle Radiology enquiries and general queries from patients, healthcare professionals and support staff Schedule Radiology appointments and maintain databases with awareness of data protection and requirement for confidentiality Send out radiology reports Image transfer across the UK Be a welcoming face to our busy Radiology department Be part of a dynamic and friendly team The Person **To succeed as a Radiology Administrator, you will have**: Have great people skills with the ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy. Ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner. Be educated to GCSE in English and Maths. Have good IT and keyboard skills. Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage (ideally within a healthcare environment).
