At Company Bakery, we are known for our exceptional sourdough and pastries, handcrafted using traditional techniques and sustainable ingredients. Our bakery operates overnight to ensure fresh deliveries across Edinburgh and beyond. As we expand, we are looking for additional Night Shift Logistics Bakery Assistants to support our overall customer growth.

Since launching in 2017, we’ve built a team of over 50 employees, serving hundreds of customers weekly. Sustainability is at the core of our business—we operate an electric fleet, work with ZeroWaste Scotland, and are introducing a new employee wellbeing package that includes private healthcare, in-house workshops, and career development opportunities.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a small team as there will only be two people on for a period of the shift and who thrives in a structured night shift environment. You will be responsible for packing and preparing bakery orders overnight, ensuring smooth operations for our morning deliveries.

This role is a key part of our expansion into a 7-day service to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lothian and further ensuring our fresh products are delivered efficiently to meet increasing demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack bakery orders, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Manage the dispatch of all products to Glasgow and early drop customers
- Organise and prepare packing supplies for the next shift and delivery to Edinburgh
- Arrange orders for pickup by the delivery team.
- Track stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organised packing area.
- Assist night bakers where possible on the bread and pastry bake

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently, especially during solo shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable and committed to night shift hours (12 AM - 8 AM).
- Ability to commute to Musselburgh.
