MMP Consultancy are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor on a long term interim to permanent contract, for a leading Local Authority in London.
Working as part of the fire safety management team.
About the role
- Working within a large fire safety team within the housing and modernisation division.
- Main role is to undertake FRA inspection programme and identify the fire-related risks across the housing portfolio.
- Portfolio ranges from High Rise / low rise residential buildings, Extra Care Unit, Tenants Management Organisation (TMO) and converted flats.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including LFB, Contractors and Asset Management team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the RRO 2005 / Fire Safety Bill 2021, Building Safety Act, technical guides, fire risk assessment guidance and building regulations is essential.
- Expectation is to assist with the delivery of projects from a technical perspective and assist with best practice throughout the delivery.
**Qualifications**:
- Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma or equivalent (Preferred - Level 2 / 3 would be considered)
- Membership of IFE / IFSM/FPA (preferred)
Title: Fire Risk Assessor
Rate: £350 per day LTD (Inside IR35)
Location: South London.
Contract: 3 Month Notice Rolling - Interim Contract (One Week Notice) - Opportunity to go permanent long term.
