Your new role

This is a customer facing role, ideally four days per week onsite in a National Highways office.

What you’ll be leading on

Take personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others by challenging, reporting and acting on any unsafe activities or conditions. Contribute to improvements which minimise risk to the health, safety and welfare of colleagues andstakeholders and carry out any tasks identified to the post in the Level 2 and relevant 2a Organisational Health & Safety RACI charts
Lead a team of Regional National Technology Relationship Managers to validate any local requirements for continuous improvement opportunities presented by operations, liaise with colleagues and the ROC management teams within their regions. Coordinate withother NTRM Regional Management and the Operations OCD team to ensure a national consistent approach.
Validate the requirement for technology within Operations, Digital Services and their suppliers. Support work required to seek approval for progression through the agreed governance.
Chair monthly Operational Technology interlock meetings with a range of stakeholders including but not limited to Operations, Procurement, Major Projects, and Digital services. Establish regional technology differences, dependencies, escalations and requirementsfor Operational Technology.
Promote continuous improvement and regional consistency of Operational Technology in the operational environment
Through self and the National Technology Relationship Managers be able to provide tactical and strategic support ensuring Business Continuity in relation to both planned works and unforeseen technology events.
Provide consistent direction and support to national and regional management teams during the roll out of operational technology projects and business as usual upgrades.
Support and mentor team to ensure they take full responsibility for all aspects of their career development, helping identify opportunities and priority development areas.
Develop and maintain key working relationships with Operations and the wider Digital Services team to promote a consistent way of working nationally.
Escalation for regional NTRM’s and Operations about the performance of our Operational Technology, analysing trends and creating reports on the technology availability.
To be successful

Experience and understanding of working with Control Room Technology solutions
Experience of building and maintaining strong professional relationships to deliver results outside immediate team
Experience of managing and providing support to operational resources during crises and major events.
A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong evidence of successful incident and problem management
ITIL qualification.
People Management

As a Senior Regional NTRM you will support the Team Lead with the design, build, and operationalisation of services via your team. You will ensure your team understand their group and individual roles and how you add value to the business. You will supportyour team and be a champion for your team’s learning and development. You will enable your team to successfully execute on their objectives whilst upholding National Highways’ values and imperatives.
You will develop excellent relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders, technical experts, innovators, and colleagues to enable a high-quality service delivery.
You will have direct line management of 3 regional NTRM’s
