Join today and build progress with us. **The Opportunity**: Join Aggregate Industries as a **Maintenance Supervisor** at our Hillhead site, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires proactive problem-solving, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact by making it your own and reducing downtime, optimising maintenance schedules, and leading a skilled team, this is the perfect opportunity. - Oversee day-to-day maintenance, servicing, and repairs of production machinery to ensure maximum plant availability. - Schedule and undertake planned preventative maintenance inspections, reducing unexpected breakdowns. - Respond to plant breakdowns, implementing both temporary and permanent solutions to maintain operational efficiency. - Manage and supervise maintenance contractors, ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards. - Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) regulations, site rules, and industry legislation. - Work closely with site management to optimise the utilisation of all plant, equipment, and facilities. - Identify critical spare parts and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to minimise downtime. - Conduct contractor inductions, reviewing competence, risk assessments, and method statements, while administering drug and alcohol testing when necessary. **Who You Are**: You’re a proactive and results-driven **Maintenance Supervisor** with a strong background in engineering and plant maintenance.
