**Your new role**:
Reporting to Head of Product, you will lead the Product Team to drive the performance of existing products and help develop allpay's new and enhanced products in line with the company business strategy.

Your focus will be your team. You will be responsible for your team's professional development and progression plan, and you will coach and mentor your team to ensure the performance drives client satisfaction.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Driving the delivery of agreed revenue, cost, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for the products.
- Managing the pricing policy for the company’s products and supporting the Head of Product with the management of the P&L within the business area.
- Ensuring products comply with relevant regulations and laws.
- Liaising with Sales and the Marketing teams to define and deliver promotional activity and marketing campaigns and measure their success.
- Working closely with the IT Delivery and Project teams to ensure clear communication at every stage of product development.
- Providing expert product knowledge during product presentations and demonstrations.

**About You**:
**Could this be the ideal role for you?**
- As our ideal Product Lead, you will be educated to a degree level and/or have a proven, extensive background in leading product management and new product development projects.
- You will also have technical awareness of how products operate within the FinTech, Housing or Local Government ecosystem.
- Your proven background in a management position within a Housing Association, Local Authority or Central Government body, or knowledge and understanding of the sector through working alongside Housing Associations, Local Authorities or Central Government bodies would be an advantage.
- You will have knowledge of product development methodologies and tools, including (but not limited to): Go to market Strategy, Product lifecycle.
- Strong commercial understanding and knowledge of financial and payments services will be advantageous.
- Detailed knowledge of the regulatory landscape covering financial services and payments, familiarity with PSD2, PSRs and EMRs is highly desirable to be successful in this role.
- You’ll possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you will be able to build relationships and influence colleagues and external contacts at all levels, including senior colleagues and board members.
