The Flexible Pipe Systems business supplies specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser systems globally. We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Innovating in the energy industry, we connect subsea and surface with industry leading technology.

The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for completing and monitoring all required tasks as directed by the Lead Operator, working as part of a team, and ensuring both themselves and the team are follow-ing the appropriate procedures and processes in place.

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring company policies, procedures and operating instructions are followed.
- Complying with all safety instructions, promote individual and team safety.
- Promoting and maintain Quality standards.
- Participating in Risk Assessments.
- Participating in the Lean Development Programme, utilising Lean Techniques.
- Identifying and reporting all Safety concerns, Quality issues and manufacturing problems before progressing any work.
- Reporting directly to the Lead Operator assisting in the set up and operation of equip-ment and machines.
- Assigning equipment/machinery for the purpose of producing test or experimental pipe.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a mechanical aptitude or experience in a mechanical/fitting environment.
- Have knowledge of metal forming and extrusion equipment processes
- have proven track record in a forward-thinking manufacturing environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have a quality background examining machined parts.
- Have experience of none destructive testing.
- Have experience in using hand tools.
- Have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations where only limited procedures exist.
- Have the ability to identify improvements within work area.
