**Role Outline**:
For over 150 years we have been fulfilling our vision of inspiring artists and audiences worldwide with the magic of the iconic Royal Albert Hall; creating life-enriching, unforgettable experiences for everyone. Hosting 390 events a year in the main auditorium and more than 800 in other smaller spaces, the Royal Albert Hall stands true to its original purpose of promoting the Arts and Sciences. As a charity, the Hall is dedicated to maintaining the Grade I listed building and giving access to all.
Philanthropy is central to the Hall’s operations, and we are seeking a high achieving Head of Philanthropy (maternity cover), with significant experience of fundraising, to oversee the Philanthropy effort at the Royal Albert Hall. The Head of Philanthropy (maternity cover) will have a particular focus on delivering strategy, leading the Hall’s capital appeal, increasing major donor fundraising and managing an engaged and active fundraising team. They will work closely with current and prospective donors, senior stakeholders such as the Board of Trustees, and other Hall teams including Marketing and Communications, Programming, Engagement, Hospitality and Partnerships and Front of House.
- Please note that due to operational and rostering limitations, the Hall is not able to accommodate any new arrangements for holding more than one position. Therefore if you currently work at the Hall and are successful in being recruited for this role, you would be unable to continue working in your existing role._
