Dealing Executive

**Overview**:
The **Dealing Executive**will provide excellent service to our customers and colleagues, **undertaking execution only dealing and trade support across UK and International equities, whilst supporting projects within the business to drive innovation and change.**
You will ensure full adherence to the regulatory framework, which will support the growth of the MUFG Pension & Market Services business model. In addition, you will build strong and enduring relationships with stakeholders and our partners.
The role is based on a **hybrid basis from our stunning central London office**on Lime Street, so you will need to live within a commutable distance to ensure you can be in the office each week with your colleagues.

**What you need**:
As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it’s the right role for you too. You will need:

- The drive, desire and ambition to learn quickly and be proactive as you start your career as a Dealing Executive
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in addition to strong numeracy skills
- An ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Motivation, innovation and the ability to work under pressure in a risk-orientated role, in an ever-changing environment
- A positive attitude, with excellent attention to detail and a driven work ethic

**It would be nice to have**:

- Dealing experience would be great, but not essential as training will be provided
- A solid understanding of the financial sector and the financial markets would be advantageous

**Day to Day, you will**:

- Execute client orders in line with best execution procedures and management of limit orders
- Work closely with the Dealers to manage the flow of trading, check trades and provide support when necessary
- Develop a strong working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery of a cohesive and professional level of customer service
- Use your initiative to identify and resolve trading related queries so that all tasks are completed accurately and meet internal SLA’s and external regulatory guidelines
- Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are managed and completed within the agreed timescales
- Provide a point of escalation for teams with complex issues and queries
- Assist with internal and external audit actions and resolution
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative guidelines, with specific focus on FCA best execution and dealing rules
- Complete control checks on a daily basis
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of individual and departmental responsibilities involved when working within a regulated environment
- Proactively support project activity and the implementation of new developments, driving the implementation when required
- Initiate and implement identified improvements to the back office processes
