**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and organisational policies.
- Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's through behaviour management strategies and specialised care techniques.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing.
- Support patients with mobility, including heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed, maintaining safe driving practices.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- shifts patterns will be 6:15am-2:30pm and 4:30pm-10:30pm.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care practices related to dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid is preferred; willingness to undertake training if not already qualified.
- Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving transportation duties.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively manage behaviour in challenging situations.
- Organised with strong attention to detail in documentation and medication administration.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
