NEW member of staff required to join our expanding team, near junction 40 of the M1 motorway at Wakefield.

Full training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities
- Using picksheets to locate the correct items for shipment and to ensure that stock is managed accurately.
- Safely picking items from shelves, using machinery where necessary.
- Packaging completed orders in protective bubble wrap and cardboard boxes to protect them during shipment
- Completing necessary paperwork to allow efficient tracking of orders
- Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries and assisting with the distribution of goods to their correct storage locations
- Restocking shelves using items from storage areas, if necessary, to ensure inventories are always full
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

Key skills:

- Ability to use picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy is essential to ensure orders are correctly fulfilled.
- Basic computer skills to be able to access orders and print packing labels.
- Ability to work while standing for long hours

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 5.00pm - 40 hours a week.
